Alpa Player — Data Deletion Request

This page explains how users of Alpa Player (developer: Alpa Yazılım) can request deletion of their data. Alpa Player has no user accounts; server-side data is linked only to the Device ID (MAC format) shown in the app.

1. Data on your device

Your lists, account details, favourites, watch history and settings are stored encrypted on your device only. Removing the source in Settings or uninstalling the app deletes them; you do not need to contact us.

2. Data on our servers

The live data we keep on our server is the Device ID (used to pair with an institution panel), the device model, app version and last connection IP, and the list assigned to the device (and its encrypted copy). The legal retention records described in section 4 are kept separately.

3. How to request deletion

Open Alpa Player and note the Device ID (on TV: MAC) shown on the Add Source screen.
Send an e-mail to info@alpayazilim.com with the subject "Alpa Player data deletion request" and include your Device ID.
Your request is concluded within 30 days at the latest and you are notified by e-mail. The legal retention records in section 4 are outside this scope.

If your device belongs to an institution account, you can also contact your institution administrator for the records in the institution panel.

4. Records kept by law

Security logs (blocked attempts, shared links): at most 90 days, then deleted automatically.
Legal retention records: time of the operation, institution / panel name, the user who performed it, IP address, browser information, MAC address, device ID / key, list link (URL) and access details (encrypted). Because of the legal obligations under Law No. 5651 and the KVKK and requests from competent authorities, they are kept for 2 years even if the device, list, user or account is deleted, and then deleted or destroyed. Only an authorised Alpa Yazılım officer and, upon a legal request, competent authorities can access them.
List upload (from the site) and app download records: at most 2 years, then deleted automatically.
If a legal investigation or official request is ongoing, the related records may be kept until that process ends.

The legal retention records are outside the scope of deletion requests (KVKK Art. 5/2-(a), (ç), (e) and Art. 7; Law No. 5651, Art. 5); they are used only for the purpose required by the legal obligation.
